A representative from AT&T described plans for a cell site consisting of a 75ft tower at 32810 Big Springs Rd. Site is not located within the Acton Community Standards District. [President Ray Garwacki Jr. arrived 7:49 and occupied the chair.] ·
Ev Lunde reported on progress of his water company CUP (CP03-109). Regional Planning Commission hearing date is Feb. 16. Previous approval was made Apr. 2003. Ray Billet Moved to renew approval- Motion Carried unanimous [Leona Sexton arrived 7:53] ·
Engineers Joel McLafferty and Larry Tuma presented updates on the following projects: TM52883 on Crown Valley Rd. north of Bandell. - The company is doing map then will sell to another for build out. Water tank to be placed west of Crown Valley Rd. near Dwight Lee. They are working with Edison to help resolve drainage problems near sub-station. Some discussion of equestrian trails, will try to attend Acton-Agua Dulce Trails Council meeting Jan. 10. Will have new map for Acton Town Council in approx. 2 months PM22782 - 3 lots on 19 acres on Soledad Cyn. Rd. west of Country Wy. - approved by Acton Town Council Oct. 2004 Is being revised and resubmitted, will bring back to council in next few months. TTM43196 Sierra Hwy. at Desert Rd. will be presented Feb. 7 regular meeting. TM 52882 on Carson Mesa. Plans to offer some land for Desert Winds Soccer League. Ray Billet raised questions on water runoff affecting Aliso Cyn. TTM60464 - 56 lots on 83 acres north of Cedral west of Crown Valley Rd. - working on drainage, blue-line stream is involved. Was unaware of plans for drug store at northwest corner of Crown Valley Rd. and Antelope Woods. Trying to incorporate changes the Council has previously requested. · McENNERY CYN RD. LA County Fire Dept. has ordered the residents to remove their speed bumps. They have done the proper signage, and received approval from local fire dept. authorities. Chief Nelson of Los Angeles County Fire Dept has issued a statement indicating a policy of no unpaved roads. Norm Hickling indicated Los Angeles County is looking at the situation.
· Rick Hall [C.U.P. 03-010 - ZCO 03-010] presented plans for proposed zone change to M-1 to provide a facility for R.V. storage. Dept of Regional Planning Public Hearing scheduled for Jan. 26. Zone change was previously disapproved by the council August 2004. No action taken.
