December 6, 2004 Regular Meeting

Called to Order 7:36 p.m. by President Ray Garwacki Jr.

Bill Daniels and Ray Billet absent, all other officers and members present.

The minutes of November 1, 2004 regular meeting approved as corrected.

Treasurers Report- Madge Rogaczewski

· Reported balance of $ 1674.22

· Announced coffee and cookies available for those present.

ANNOUNCEMENTS / CORRESPONDENCE

David Eisner:

· Read a letter from Acton resident Bernard Schwab expressing opposition to the proposed OHV Park.

· An invitation from Antelope Valley Resource Dist. for open house Dec. 10.

· Mountain. Conservancy 5th anniversary celebration Dec. 17.

PRESENTATIONS

· Norm Hickling presented a commendation from Supervisor Antonovich to retiring Council President David Weary.

· Dep. Erick Doepking, Lt. Tom Cary and Dep. Dave Jennings, representing Sheriffs Dept discussed enforcement processes and problems regarding off road vehicle use on private and public property.

· Representatives from Waste Management of the Antelope Valley provided information on the landfill consolidation.
