Read letter from Supervisor Antonovich's office regarding hauled water policy. From the gallery, Norm Hickling indicated motion is before the Board of Supervisors by Zev Yaroslavsky to adopt existing policy. Supervisor Antonovich is fighting it. Decision is expected in two weeks.·
On question of proliferation of billboards. Norm Hickling explained that any sign advertising anything not on the same location or property is considered a billboard regardless of size. Los Angeles County has had moratorium for last two years on new billboards. Will expire soon, new action may be forthcoming. Community Standards Chair Michael Hughes

Suggested some action be taken to try to get the school board to comply with Acton Community Standards Ordinance with respect to the design of the proposed high school.·
Leona Sexton suggested the Council have regular representation at School Board meetings.Michael Hughes Moved to send letter to School Board requesting compliance with Architectural Guidelines as adopted in the Acton Community Standards Ordinance. - Motion Carried (7-1 Ray Billet dissenting) Ray Garwacki Jr. will draft letter.
