Minutes of August 4, 2003 approved as corrected.
Treasurer's report: Madge Rogaczewski - Reported a balance of $768.23.
ANNOUNCEMENTS / CORRESPONDENCE
Ray Garwacki Jr. announced receipt of the following:
· Notice of Hazardous Waste round-up at High Desert School Oct. 18.
· Notice of Calif. Hi-Speed Rail Authority meeting Sept. 23 in San Francisco.
David Weary announced the Rocktoberfest fundraiser for the Acton Community Club, Oct. 18.
PRESENTATIONS
· Representatives from Los Angeles County Water District 37 and Antelope Valley-East Kern Water District described their operational procedures and the processes involved in distribution of water to district customers and annexation of new areas.
· After a short recess Dave Jennings Sheriffs Community Liaison Officer reported on numerous daylight burglaries in area. Volunteers on patrol logged 300 hours last month.
