Acton Town Council DBA (Fictitious Firm Name certification) has been filed.·
A letter from Dept of Regional Planning, looking into the second unit issue. Planning changes to General Plan and/or Zoning ordinance.·
Some meetings will be scheduled for General Plan update. Workshop scheduled for ARTC meeting Jan. 30.·
New proposal for 51 homes on 81 acres west of Crown Valley Rd. vicinity of Cedral / Acklins. More information to be presented at Jan. 20 Planning Meeting .·
Letter regarding bicycle ride March 1 along Escondido Cyn Rd, Crown Valley Rd., and Soledad Cyn Rd.David Weary announced:

Dave Jennings Sheriffs Dept. new community liason officer for several unincorporated areas presented information concerning efforts to improve crime prevention and reporting. Including implementation of the new store-front and community volunteer patrols.·

Reported on meetings with personnel from San Gabriel Mountains Conservancy and Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation. Going back to square one on Rehab Trail process. Emphasized that local equestrians use trails as much as possible.Publicity Chair Georgia Cushman

Traffic Committee Co-Chair Georgia Cushman, Madge Rogaczewski.
· Georgia Cushman reported on conversation with Calif. Highway Patrol officer Marr. Working on getting committee moving in January.
· Madge Rogaczewski reported on resident request regarding stop sign and left turn pocket at Sierra Highway and Desert Rd. Committee will follow-up.
Library Committee Liaison Ray Garwacki Jr.
· Dick Morris reported on Survey and setting up of community meetings.
OLD BUSINESS
· Dick Morris read a copy of a letter from State Atty. General to Supervisor Antonovich indicating support in the litigation regarding Soledad Cyn. mining environmental issues.
· Dick Morris also read the letter from Dept of Regional Planning regarding 2nd unit issue and planned amendments to Title 22 County Code.
· From the gallery, Lillian Smith reported on a requirement that the Coussoulis project do a feasibility study for a regional sewage plant.
