ANNOUNCEMENTS / CORRESPONDENCE
Dick Morris announced receipt of the following:
· A notice from L.A. County Dept. of Regional Planning indicating denial of Conditional Use Permit 00152-5 (Albertson's) effective Aug. 1, period for submitting appeal is 15 days .
· Information from Antelope Valley Illegal Dumping Sub-Committee, and announcement of next meeting scheduled for Aug. 8th.
· Announcement from Calif. Water Quality Control Board seminar scheduled for Oct. 23 in Sacramento.
· Notice requesting nominations for Governors Environmental and Economic Leadership Awards.

· Northstar Minerals, would like to schedule tour on Aug 25 or Sept. 8. Council would like to wait until later in the fall.· Ray Billet reported that Aliso Cyn. Rd. is closed for bridge reconstruction.
· TMC hearing has been postponed date to be announced.
· Public Hearing Aug. 21 for proposed Senior Citizen Residence at 3320 Seclusion Pl.
· Public Hearing in November for proposed 2nd dwelling at 6124 Escondido Cyn. Rd.
· CP97-141 Acton Faith Bible Church, hearing continued to Oct. 17.

· Attended last meeting. They want to establish executive board. Next meeting will be Sept. 26. Future meetings will be bi-monthly or maybe quarterly.
