Called to Order 7:32 p.m. by President David Weary
Leona Sexton, Ray Garwacki Jr. & Calvin Oglesby absent. Doug Barnett arrived late. All other officers and members present.
Minutes of March 19, 2001 meeting approved as published.
Treasurer Leona Sexton -No Report
ANNOUNCEMENTS / CORRESPONDENCE
Dick Morris announced following:
· Calif. Regional Water Quality Control Board - a public workshop to be held Thursday, April 12.
· 2nd annual "Increased Peace Day" to be held at Antelope Valley College April 20.
· Waste Management will provide 40yd containers from April 27 to April 30. Locations to be announced.
The Chair announced a change in Beautification Committee chairmanship. Ray Garwacki Jr. replaced by Georgia Cushman .
PRESENTATIONS
Fred Brown, representing Coussoulis Development, presented plans for improving a previous Tentative Tract in Acton Canyon. Project will involve 30 homes on 60 acres.
Some discussion of ground water compliance and monitoring well requirements involving Forecast Homes and Calif. Regional Water Quality Control Board

Planning & Coordinating Chair Dick Morris -
· There will be a Town Hall meeting at Agua Dulce Women's Club Wednesday, April 11 7:30 p.m. to discuss Transit-Mixed Concrete project.
Finance, Ways and Means Chair Leona Sexton --No Report
Bylaws Chair Bill Daniels -Nothing to Report
Trails, Open Space & Recreation Chair Ray Billet -
· Word has been received from Caltrans that equestrian access through Crown Valley Rd. underpass at SR14 will be implemented.
· Nothing appears to be happening on ORV trails off Aliso Cyn, or Aliso Cyn bridge project.
Publicity Chair Calvin Oglesby -No Report
Utilities Chair Doug Barnett
· Attended PUC meeting Mar. 29 in Los Angeles .
· Has heard that Edison grid feed-back agreements are limited to zero. Would like to hear from anyone who has such contract to verify.
Community Standards Chair David Weary -Nothing to Report
· Dick Morris indicated the need to have meeting with L.A. County personnel regarding implementation of equestrian trails in accordance with Acton Community Standards Ordinance.

· Friends of the River meeting and field trip down the Santa Clara River April 1 went well.

· Little Night Music scheduled for June 2.
Santa Clarita Valley General Plan - Chair Leona Sexton -No Report
· Bill Daniels announced that the committee will meet Thursday April 5.
· David Weary will pick up copies of survey.
OLD BUSINESS
· From the Gallery Elizabeth Billet suggested a need to review the lot size requirements in the Acton Community Standards Ordinance .
NEW BUSINESS
· The Chair indicated that a representative of Calif. Regional Water Quality Control Board will attend the April 16 Planning Meeting to discuss policies involving monitoring well requirements, and progress on Forecast Homes project.
