Chrys Hamper, Ray Billet, and Calvin Oglesby absent, All other officers and members present.
Minutes of November 6, 2000 meeting approved as published.
Treasurer Leona Sexton --Reported a balance of $1227.81
ANNOUNCEMENTS / CORRESPONDENCE
Secretary Ray Garwacki Jr. announced receipt of the following :
· An invitation to an Open House/Mixer on Dec. 4 at Palmdale City Hall.
PRESENTATIONS
Engineering and Management Personnel representing L.A. County Water Dist. 37, and AVEK. presented information and answered questions concerning water services. Highlights included :
· The recent proposed annexation by Dist. 37 involving the remaining portion of the CFD 90-1 Mello-Roos in North Crown Valley.
· Denial of rumors that water can be pumped to Antelope Valley from Acton.
· Reported inventory shrinkage of approx. 18%.

· Community Club will present "A Christmas Carol" on Dec. 8 & 9.
OLD BUSINESS
· Concerning a proposal to increase the height of wind generators allowable without Conditional Use Permit.
Dick Morris Moved to oppose the change Motion Carried (4-1) Doug Barnett dissenting.

OPEN FORUM
· The Chair reported on proposed amendments to L.A. County General Plan as regards to Acton being in Antelope or Santa Clarita Valley, or possibility of being split between the two. More information to be presented at a January meeting.

The Chair announced the next regular meeting to be held Dec. 18, 2000. 7:30 p.m. Acton Community Center (Kitchen).
